Maura Masters
PRESIDENT
Maura has a storied career as a community relations specialist building programs and assisting those looking to add to the fabrics of their communities. As a public relations and marketing professional, she successfully coordinated large-scale fundraising events, and improved the presence of clients in their markets. As a librarian, she guided adult patrons to find that reading would allow them to thrive.
Most recently, as a subject matter expert in the field of homeless housing services and grant management, she supervised government-based loans both as a recipient and a facilitator, and as the grant provider on a state and national level.
Underneath it all, Maura has strived to look after the people in her community who need a helping hand.

Jarid Rollins
VICE PRESIDENT
LCSW
Jarid Rollins is an LCSW with trainings in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and the Gottman method for working with couples.
Jarid has been working in mental health since 2010 and has worked in schools, jails, residential and outpatient settings. He is passionate and involved in numerous boards, advisory groups and efforts to make the Roaring Fork Valley a community that is healthy for all residents.

Denise Harford
TREASURER
BA, MBA
Denise Harford earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado. She began her career working for Deloitte and Touche as an auditor focusing on government and retail clients.
She then spent 15 years working as a technical accountant for large and small businesses in the retail, medical, service, and technology sectors.
After obtaining an MBA from Regis University, she began offering business consulting services to small businesses and nonprofits. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to open her own accounting firm, Harford Accounting Services, where she helps small businesses and nonprofits account for their financial transactions and understand the financial health of their businesses.

Monica Brutout

MA
Monica Brutout, a Colorado native, moved to the Roaring Fork Valley to pursue her education in Sustainability. After working for several non-profit organizations, she found what felt like a niche within the social services field.
Monica graduated from Prescott College in 2020 with her Masters of Arts in Social Justice and Community Organizing. She then went on to become the Interim Director at the Aspen Homeless Shelter, whose mission was warmly handed over to Recovery Resources.
Now, Monica works as the Homeless Services Manager for Eagle County, building formal programs and grant writing, to support our unsheltered friends.
In her spare time you’ll find Monica with her blue heeler, River, at the local ski resort or seeing one of her many favorite jam bands.

Janelle Duhon
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & BOARD MEMBER

2021 Helen K. Klanderud Exemplary Service Award Recipient
Janelle is the founder and CEO of Recovery Resources. In her role as the Founder and CEO, Janelle oversees Recovery Resources’ leadership team and day-to-day operations.
Janelle Duhon started her career in addiction working in an acute detoxification center. Detox is the starting point for recovery. Janelle’s determination to help people struggling with addiction and mental health challenges became her passion. Janelle has a master’s degree in Science and is a Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS). Janelle is also a trained Brain Synchronization therapist. She specializes in trauma and substance use.
Janelle moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2011 to pursue her equestrian dream. The equestrian dream came true! Janelle currently owns Lady Gabrielle, Annie and a lovely donkey named Nacho. In her spare time, Janelle loves riding her horses and spending time with her Boston Terrier, Lizzie. Her hobbies include horseback riding, hiking, camping, backpacking, boxing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, and snow climbing.

Beth Berkeley
CHIEF CLINICAL OFFICER & BOARD MEMBER

Beth has a master’s degree in Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Addiction Specialist.
She works with individuals, couples, and families. Her specialty is family members and friends who have a loved one who uses alcohol or drugs. If you or your loved one has a problem with the use of substances, she is happy to talk with you about change and the possibilities of a new way to live.
She provides compassionate counseling to work through thoughts, feelings and behaviors. She holds space for clients to learn healthy coping, calming, and communication skills to live more fully.
Beth uses various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques. At each session, she provides skills to practice between appointments so that you have the tools to achieve your goals. Beth is currently accepting new clients.
