Pretrial Services

OVERVIEW

We offer Pretrial Services for defendants who have posted bond or have been ordered by the court to seek Pretrial Services. If you are in need of Pretrial services, please call or email the Pretrial Case Manager at the contact info on this page to start the intake process. Failure to register with Recovery Resources within 5 days of receiving your sentencing order is a violation of your bond conditions and will be immediately reported to the court for failure to comply.

Pretrial intakes are by appointment only and limited spots are available, so it is essential that you contact us to ensure that you get registered within the 5 day requirement.

How it Works

Our Pretrial case manager will meet with you regularly to supervise your case and to provide you with additional resources as needed. The Pretrial Case Manager then reports to the court, the DA, probation office, and defense counsel of your status in compliance with bond conditions.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. The court issues a ‘sentencing order’

  2. The defendant must register with RR within 5 days of receiving the sentencing order

  3. The defendant schedules intake meeting and pretrial assessment with our pretrial coordinator

  4. The defendant signs a pretrial bond conditions and other documents and pretrial services agreement

  5. Once the intake process is complete the defendant submits to regular drug testing and monitoring as specified by the court.

  6. At the end of the pretrial time a pretrial report is sent to the court that includes information with compliance of check-ins, substance use, etc.
