Unsheltered Outreach Support

Unsheltered Support

Recovery Resources works in partnership with Pitkin County, the Valley Alliance to End Homelessness and other regional agencies to provide critical support services and daily basic needs resources for people experiencing homelessness in our community. These services are provided at our Community Connection Point, located in the Pitkin County Health and Human Services Building at 405 Castle Creek Road, Aspen.

Our homelessness support services include:

  • Daily Basic Needs Services: food, showers, laundry, computer access, mail/packages pick up, clothing vouchers, bus passes, recovery support groups, life skills, and peer connections.

  • Winter Emergency Shelter: provided from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am daily.

  • Case Management: case managers help people access health care and social support services, apply for jobs, and navigate local housing resources.

  • Street Outreach: case managers meet clients where they’re at in the community to help with immediate needs and connecting to local resources.

Unsheltered Outreach

Our Unsheltered Outreach Program takes our services outside the walls of a building to engage people experiencing homelessness in the tri-county region of Pitkin, Eagle and Garfield counties.

We are not accepting referrals at this time. We will update the website when we can accept referrals in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

The Recovery Resources team was phenomenal. They made the process extremely straightforward for me and helped explain the answers to all my questions along the way. I was set up with the people at the homeless shelter in Aspen who also made my time there pleasant and educational. I appreciate all the help I got.
