Recovery starts with connection.
He spent a week here with us completely sober. He looked so much healthier physically when I dropped him off at DIA yesterday. I have no idea if his sobriety will continue now that he’s back home. But for the first time in some time, he has some hope that it may.

More than a drunk tank
Recovery Resources was born in 2016 from the vision of our Executive Director, Janelle Duhon. Janelle’s vision was simple: Create an organization that helped all people find freedom from the devastation of addiction.

Taking the wheel and learning to drive is a process. There is that incredible day when you hop in the driver’s seat and venture off on your first big road trip. But before that, there’s tons of skills to master. You’ve got to know what all the traffic signals and road signs mean.

Feeling “stuck” is the number one thing I talk about with our clients; people just like you who are feeling bogged down by bad habits they can’t shake, and daily struggles that block them from living a fulfilling life. When you’re dealing with this stuff, especially long-term, it’s easy to spiral down into the grips of frustration and hopelessness.
